From the Adriatic Sea, woven between the summits of Montenegro, Kotor is the end point, the ultimate backdrop. Everlasting flower. At the water's edge and on the slope of the mountain, Slavic and Mediterranean at once, between rose and Tonka bean, rhubarb and jasmine, oud and thyme, it is there, inhabited by the ages and the sweet way of life. Beckoning, Kotor shimmers, Kotor flashes with light. Its tiny streets, squares and palaces adorned with kilim rugs; a kingdom of myrrh, cedar and sandalwood. From its heights, an uninterrupted view over the jagged rocks and isthmi; a hanging garden of clove, maté and patchouli. And so night falls again, for a new dream of musk and leather before the bay.

Vanilla

The pods that produce the Bourbon vanilla absolute are harvested between June and July, following the Malagasy tradition, thanks to a decade of direct access to the fully integrated production. A liquid gold the colour of the setting sun that sets the village fortifications ablaze.

Perfumer's inspiration

"The fragrance explores the balsamic side of the Oud essence by sublimating the warm and amber addictive facet with a praline accord. The Vanilla absolute reinforces the composition with its spicy and leathery character. A vision of a modern Oud, full of sensuality with a sophisticated signature. My inspiration comes from my first days living in Dubai. I was invited by a family in a sumptuous palace. The fragrance of Oud smoked in the large lounge where I was welcomed. I was immersed by the smell of this precious wood. Then I smelled some oriental delights, this sweet caress blended with the oud transported me. A beautiful and delicious memory…"
